ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGERS 

Soil Engineers Ltd. is looking for junior and senior level ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGERS with strong environmental site assessment (Phase I/One, Phase II/Two) and remediation experience in the site development and construction consulting industry.  

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out environmental projects to completion: from proposal preparation, project execution (record reviews, site inspection, monitoring and analysis, contamination delineation studies, liaison with clients, contractors, government and other external institutions, etc.), to final submission of technical reports.

Candidates MUST possess the following:
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in the province of Ontario.  Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering (Civil, Geo-Environmental, Chemical or related engineering discipline)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in site investigation and characterization, remediation, analytical chemistry and/or soil sciences, submission of records of site condition,
  • Thorough understanding of environmental regulatory requirements and standards in Ontario,
  • Ability to carry out multiple and concurrent projects, and deal with demanding clientele; strong project management, organization, interpersonal relations and communication skills,
  • Excellent command of the English language, oral and written,
  • Ability to train and lead junior staff/engineers and technicians,
  • Valid driver’s license and a vehicle to drive to sites; willing to travel to various job sites throughout southern Ontario.

Compensation is negotiable.
